The Oxygen Calculation Tool is a professional-grade app specifically designed for transport medical professionals. Its main function is to generate the minutes of usable oxygen based on the input of oxygen supply and flow rate.

With Oxygen Calculation Tool, managing your oxygen cylinders is a breeze. You can easily add or delete up to 10 cylinders for both portable and onboard supply. The app offers flexibility in entering the flow rate, allowing users to choose between a free flow setting or ventilation settings calculated from minute ventilation and FiO2 settings. Additionally, users can input ventilator-specific bias flow if necessary.

To ensure efficient use of oxygen, Oxygen Calculation Tool includes a countdown feature. This feature enables users to time their O2 usage with their preferred settings, and any adjustments made during the countdown will automatically update the settings.

In addition to the core functionality, the app also provides a drip rate calculator to assist with medication calculations. By inputting the supply and dose information, users can determine the rate in ml/hr.

Oxygen Calculation Tool offers a reference page outlining the mathematical calculations used within the app, as well as a comprehensive list of oxygen cylinders and associated conversion factors. If a required cylinder size is not available, users can provide feedback through the settings feature for possible future additions.

This app also offers dark mode compatibility for those who prefer it.

It's important to note that calculations in Oxygen Calculation Tool are rounded down to the nearest whole minute. Please be aware that this app does not subtract 200 psi from the initial input to account for residual O2. If required by specific formulas, users have the option to manually subtract 200 psi from their pressure prior to input.
